This upscale restaurant at Silvertip Resort is known for its steaks. Each perfectly prepared, thick 100% Canadian Prime steak represents the top 0.3% of beef in Canada. It’s renowned for its outstanding flavour and tenderness. All steaks are prepared with housemade seasonings and finished under a 1,500°F infrared flame boiler that seals in flavour and juices. Rustica also features seasonally inspired menus made from regional ingredients.

Atmosphere & Accolades

Rustica was voted Best Steak in Alberta 2015 by OpenTable, and Best Steak in the Bow Valley by Rocky Mountain Outlook newspaper readers. This restaurant has a Top 10 Alberta Steakhouse rating by TripAdvisor and recently entered Trip Advisor’s Award of Excellence Hall of Fame. Rustica has also won consecutive Wine Spectator awards since 2009.

Rustica’s elegant atmosphere is enhanced by Douglas fir timber ceilings, a floor-to-ceiling Rundle stone fireplace, leather chairs with high backs and formal table settings. Patrons are treated to stunning golf course and Mount Lady Macdonald views, as well as frequent wildlife sightings through immense windows and from the serene cobblestone patio.

Rustica hosts events! Rustica’s private room allows 20 people to enjoy dinner and fine wine together with great conversation and memorable moments.

Executive Chef Jason Leizert and his culinary team frequently change the menu to reflect the best in local and seasonal ingredients.

  • Summer Breakfast: menu changes regularly but usually includes classics like sausage, bacon, eggs, toast, hash browns, french toast, eggs benedict
  • Lunch: menu varies. examples include house-made salads, seafood chowder, beef carpaccio, goat cheese fritters, charcuterie, silvertip burger, roasted brisket sandwich, fish & chips, tacos, vegetarian chickpea burger
  • Dinner: examples from their seasonal menu include salmon, halibut, steak & frites, prime beef tenderloin, prime striploin steak, prime ribeye. table d’hôte
  • Sunday Brunch: one of canmore’s best brunches with seasonal fruit smoothies, valbella breakfast sausages, free range eggs cooked to your liking, eggs benedict, house cut hash browns, short rib hash, frittata, weekly specials
