Canmore’s long-established Rose & Crown creates a buzz by offering “traditional English fare with new world flair.” Locals keep coming back for the comforting home cooked food. Even sauces, salsa and dressings are made on-site. “The town is our regular, we’re their place,” says owner/chef Rob Anderson.

The family-friendly restaurant with photos of local landscapes offers a warm atmosphere, while the wood-finished pub is the spot to meet friends and play pool or darts. The large, tree-shaded patio by Policeman’s Creek with kids‘ play area and Rundle Range view is a secluded downtown oasis steps from Main Street.
