	The Rose & Crown Canmore’s Rose and Crown has lived many lives in its 24 years, but current owners create a buzz by offering “traditional English fare with new world flair.” Items such as Rosemary lamb chops and buttermilk-coated calamari prove the Rose tempts with more than their famous beer-battered fish. The family-friendly dining room offers a refined atmosphere, while the wood-finished, tavern-style pub is the spot to relax with friends and play pool. The large, tree-shaded patio by Policeman's Creek is a secluded downtown oasis. Open 11 am to 2 am. Mains are $9 to $22, starters/pub fare are $3 to $13. Fourteen beers on tap are $6 to $7.50 a pint (happy hour discounts are 4 pm to 7 pm). Wines (11 choices) are $26 to $48, $5.75 to $9 by the glass (10 choices).
