Elita is one of Canmore’s newest restaurants—guests enjoy global fusion “fingerprint” cuisine, inspired Mediterranean, Pacific Rim, and East Indian fare. Internationally trained chef/owner Victor creates “culinary art” based on his 30 years of experience, and passion for the history and culture of food. The “mixed concept” portion of the menu allows ingredients to be interchanged so that meals can be tailored to accommodate customer requests. The wrap-around patio boasts lovely mountain views, while the dining room features local artwork for sale.

Open daily 9 am to 10 pm; dessert/salad bar until 1 am. Mains are $15 to $19; lunch $9 to $12; breakfast $9 to $11; take-out offered. Wines (12 choices) are $28 to $38; $5.50 to $7.50 a glass.
