This is one of Canmore’s most elegant restaurants. But come as you are; Murrietta’s is suitable for both special nights out and casual meals. While the décor and food is pleasingly chic, the service reflects the best of small-town hospitality. Fresh and stylish West Coast inspired dishes include many gluten-free options.

Atmosphere

Features include linen clad tables, vaulted ceilings, an open kitchen with forno oven, wall of wines, and Rundle Range and Main Street views. In summer huge windows open wide; in winter the electric fireplace glows. Try the inviting lounge with long bar for a martini or scotch. A private room is available for functions.

Lunch Menu Samples

  • Beer Battered Ling Cod and Chips (housemade tartar sauce); Grilled Chicken Sandwich (apricot chutney, Brie, frisée and asparagus on ciabatta bun); Angus Beef Burger (roasted garlic aioli, and aged cheddar on brioche bun); Grilled Garden Wrap (housemade falafel, kimchi, greens and tomato)
